This news will surely enter happiness in UAE’s residents and can give benefits to small and medium-sized businesses.
According to one of the authentic source of news; the Gulf News UAE; The TRA (Telecommunications Regulatory Authority) is in talks with Apple & Microsoft to lift the ban on their VoIP services like Skype and Facetime. If the ban lifted than you have no need to search anymore about “how to unblock Skype in UAE” or “how to use skype in UAE”.
The huge expansion of investment from both technology giants in UAE is the reason behind this talk on lifting the ban on Skype and Facetime.
Microsoft is already set to start two new data center in UAE and Apple already has three outlets in the country.
According to some local reports, the TRA’s Director General Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri confirmed the talks this week.
